Andrea Girman, MD, MPH, is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, pediatric residency program and Bloomberg School of Public Health. In 2002, she completed fellowship training in Integrative Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center's Continuum Center for Health and Healing in New York. Prior to joining Genova in September 2008, Dr. Girman was an active clinician and consultant. She is co-author of Mosby's Handbook of Herbs and Supplements and their Therapeutic Uses and a contributor to Integrative Medicine: Principles for Practice.
Elizabeth (Betsy) Redmond, PhD, MMSc, RDN, completed her Master of Medical Science degree at Emory University in Atlanta, and her Doctorate in Nutrition at the University of Georgia. Dr. Redmond previously held the position of Nutrition Director at Clark Atlanta University Head Start, functioned as Research Nutritionist on the National Institutes of Health's Women's Health Trial Feasibility Study in Minority Populations at Emory University, and also worked in private practice. She is the current Chair of Dietitians in Integrative Medicine (DIFM), a practice group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. As Medical Education Manager for Genova Diagnostics, Dr. Redmond oversees strategic clinical information resources and coordinates the creation and dissemination of educational materials for Genova Diagnostics' tests.

Cass Nelson-Dooley, MS, has served as a Medical Education Specialist since January of 2006, educating clinicians in interpretation of laboratory data for prevention and treatment of disease. At the University of Georgia, she completed a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Ethnobotany and a master's degree in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences with an emphasis on Ethnopharmacology. Ms. Nelson-Dooley received the Fulbright Scholar award to study in Bocas del Toro, Panama. She is co-author of "Nutrient and Toxic Elements" in the textbook, Laboratory Evaluations for Integrative and Functional Medicine and has published in journals such as The Journal of Nutrition, Obesity Research, and Current Medicinal Chemistry. Ms. Nelson-Dooley has presented to both national and international audiences on the topics of disease prevention, drug discovery research, obesity, and osteoporosis.
Dr. Christine Stubbe
Christine Stubbe, ND, received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. She completed a 3-year family practice/ oncology residency at Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic and Frontier Cancer Center in Billings, Montana. Dr. Stubbe joined the Medical Education team at Genova Diagnostics to provide educational support to practitioners.
Dr. Margaret Steele
Dr. Margaret Steele is a licensed naturopathic physician in the state of Arizona. She graduated with highest honors from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. She also earned her Master's degree in Acupuncture from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Steele is particularly interested in clinical nutrition, gastrointestinal health, environmental medicine, and endocrinology.
